forums, take it off the site if you must. An occasional joke is
ok - it's the downright nasty fights we want to keep off of GP.
It is understood that people will have different opinions, but like
any community we should strive to understand the differences between
us and do so in a manner that is both proper and non-threatening.
Although there is members from all over the world, the majority of the
people here are local people. There's a good chance you will meet
some of these people in real life, so the whole 'this is the internet'
thing may not actually be something that fits here.
- No graphic images without a [NWS]
(not work safe) tag in the title, many people surf this site from work
and we don't want to get anyone in trouble. Any images embedded
with the [IMG] tag should be smaller than 640 pixels wide. Anything
larger should be displayed as a link.
- No spamming. Posted in one forum?
That's enough, don't post the same post in multiple forums.
- Avatars must be of a non-pornographic
nature. You can disable avatars in your USERCP entirely if you
are surfing from work or don't want to see them.
- If using the [IMG] tag please no images
larger than 640 pixels wide. For images larger than 640, please
just link to them (not embed)
- You can't reply in the For Sale forums (motorcycle
related) except to bump your own thread. This works for EBAY and
the CMRA (along with the 'Buy & Sell') so it should work okay here.
This will also help the moderators keep the crap out. This will
also insure users include ALL important info when posting ads.
